A beautifully modernised 1850s cottage, full of character and charm, sleeping 8 across 4 comfortable bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Enjoy a spacious lounge with a stunning dual-sided log burner and breathtaking views of the Black Mountains. The large kitchen and generous dining area are perfect for gatherings, while the outdoor summer kitchen with WiFi, BBQ, and seating is ideal from spring through autumn. In winter, relax by the cosy log burners (one basket of logs provided).

Set in rolling Monmouthshire hills, the property offers zoned garden areas for privacy, a large garden pond, dedicated workspaces, and ample private parking—perfect for families, friends, or retreats in all seasons.

Guests will have the use of the entire cottage, the top two fields, a small woodland, and a summer kitchen equipped with a BBQ and Fridge. One of the stables is available as a secure storage area for bicycles or other outdoor equipment.

I do not live close by but am available by phone or email. Friendly neighbours can assist in the event of their being any problems.

Set within the Wye Valley Area of Natural Beauty this property is idea for a family or small group to escape to the country and enjoy the big outdoors. Many activities such as canoeing, hiking, diving and cycling are all close by.

We will provide detailed arrival instructions prior to check in and a comprehensive arrival pack providing details of local attractions and hiking/cycling routes. Guests will need their own car to get to the property.

Our cleaning fee includes a professional hot tub clean ensuring the health and wellbeing of our guest.

Please note, we do not provide additional towels for the hot tub.

The hot tub is professionally cleaned and maintained after every visit.

Please be aware that the hot tub water contains chlorine, which can discolour/fade some materials.

The Owners will do their best to keep it operational; however, they cannot guarantee its operation all or any of the time of occupancy.

Persons using the hot tub do so at their own risk and the Owners assume no responsibility for accident or injury.

Renter(s) should inspect on arrival.

Renter(s) should have hot tub covered when not in use.
