🏡 Llwynbrain Farm House – Sleeps 10

The largest of the three properties, Llwynbrain Farm House is a wonderfully spacious four-bedroom home designed for everyone to gather together.

Downstairs, the well-equipped kitchen leads through to a separate utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and sink. Beyond is a convenient ground-floor bathroom with a walk-in rainfall and handheld shower.

The heart of the farmhouse is its large dining room with seating for all 10 guests, a log burner and beautiful views across the valley – ideal for those big family breakfasts and dinners together.

Alongside is the spacious yet cosy living room, with comfortable sofas, TV, a second log burner, blankets, books and board games. Large windows make the most of the countryside views, while underfloor heating runs throughout the ground floor.

Upstairs are four bedrooms: a king-size principal bedroom with ensuite shower room, a spacious bedroom with two double beds, a twin bedroom with two single beds, and a further double bedroom. There’s also a family bathroom with bath and shower.

Outside, enjoy a BBQ, watch for rabbits, foxes and red kites or simply sit back with a drink and admire the countryside. On clear nights, the rural location is wonderful for stargazing.

The Parlour provides a completely separate place to stay within the estate, making it particularly useful for couples or smaller family groups who want to be part of the main gathering while retaining their own space.

This beautifully converted property offers spacious open-plan accommodation, creating a relaxed and welcoming countryside hideaway.

With its own living, sleeping and kitchen facilities, The Parlour works perfectly alongside the Farm House for extended families. Guests can spend their days and evenings together before retreating to the privacy of their own accommodation.

Its attractive stone exterior and charming private entrance add plenty of character, with a lovely spot outside for sitting with a morning coffee or evening drink.

🏡 The Dairy – Sleeps 4

Completing the estate is The Dairy, a charming one-bedroom converted dairy that’s ideal for a couple, grandparents or a small family.

Downstairs you’ll find a bright open-plan lounge and kitchen, with a comfortable sofa bed providing additional sleeping accommodation. The well-equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, making longer stays particularly easy.

A beautiful oak staircase leads to the first floor, where you’ll find the double bedroom and its own private ensuite bathroom.

The Dairy also benefits from parking and provides another independent retreat while keeping its guests right at the heart of the group holiday.

There’s plenty to discover from your doorstep and further afield. Spend the day exploring historic Laugharne and its Dylan Thomas connections, head for the huge sandy beach at Pendine Sands, discover Llansteffan and its castle, or visit Carmarthen for shops, supermarkets, restaurants and cafés.

Walkers can discover beautiful countryside and coastal routes, while cyclists and mountain bikers have miles of quiet lanes and trails to explore. For a bigger adventure, head towards Brechfa Forest, while families can enjoy beaches, castles, wildlife attractions and some fantastic days out across Carmarthenshire and neighbouring Pembrokeshire.

Then return to Llwynbrain, light the log burner, fire up the BBQ or simply sit outside beneath the stars.

We love welcoming well-behaved dogs to Llwynbrain. Dogs must not be left unattended, are not permitted on furniture, upstairs, in bedrooms or on beds, and must be kept under close control around the surrounding countryside and livestock. Please clean up after your dogs and remove any excess dog hair before departure. A surcharge may be applied if the pet rules aren’t followed.
